Past Acclaimed…

The pictured frames on the wall,

Have acclaimed the past and recall…

The Rejoicing

The Adapting

The Afflicting

The Judging

The Denying

The Reckoning

The Aging

The Gratifying

Travelling back in time I recognize,

We are our past bundled up tight.

They circle around fuelling my senses,

Spinning all together making inferences.

I witnessed them all, although they look strange today,

I took the role of a visitor to my own life today.

These innumerable ingredients I used, to live my life,

I t tasted at times sweet, other times sour in every bite.

Inseparable from my identity,

Carrying my accomplishments unconsciously.

Learning from my setbacks unknowingly,

Taking the challenges heroically.

Silently collecting these treasures showcased on the wall,

Amazed at the doubled awareness and confidence, I advance.

Visualizing clearly the past acquisitively entwining,

With the present and the future smiling!
