Dreams…

Dreams safely take us to unknown spheres,

Sometimes dark and sometimes fair.

Land in a desert in peak afternoon,

Surrounded by a thousand sand dunes,

The scorching winds in full speed blowing,

The face hopelessly exposed and burning,

One has surely landed in a soup.

Plunge in deep oceans,

And swim with the notion,

“I am a great swimmer and so that be,”

Amongst the deep flora and fauna of the sea,

Live with colorful friendly creatures that you see.

Onto the icy hills climb,

Watching carefully all the time,

Not to slip, holding the ropes tight,

Pondering, Will this peak honor my fight?

Will my well-deserved victory be in sight?

Frantically pulled the quilt over, and discovered,

A confused reflection of mind had hovered,

Around my thoughts in deep slumber,

Something the mind and tongue mumble,

Slowly the awake eyes roll, where am I?

A showcase of what is hidden inside,

Deep down unearthed, as I dived,

The scattered puzzle unseen by naked eye,

Saw it all in my sleeping mind,

Amazed, what a rare find!
