Connections…

The birds chirping in the sky,

Flying in an inquisitive shape,

I am awestruck as they sway by,

Submerged in this scenic landscape.

The blue lake below for them preparing,

The aqua rippling with the light breeze,

For their airy contingents smooth landing,

I witness this awesome phenomenon staged.

Bringing to reality they are alive and stood by,

Like my buddies and became a part of my zone,

They looked at me unsure why I was not shy,

Analyzing me without a wink as I stood alone.

The Canadian Goose that’s what they are called,

Were today, my morning doze of inspiration, revelations,

Together they flew, flocked, hunted and happily chatted,

Giving me a sense, ‘by nature we thrive in connections.’
